Larry started his job at an insurance call centre in 2006. Took 50 calls and sorting out 20 claims lodgement per day at the time. Due to shortage of claims linguist, he was trained to be a claim expert in a very short period of time.

Larry started his job at an insurance call centre in 2006. Took 50 calls and sorting out 20 claims lodgement per day at the time. Due to shortage of claims linguist, he was trained to be a claim expert in a very short period of time.
From 2011 to 2017, Larry started working for NZI as a senior claims consultant and became a 'Libero Player' to assisting with loss adjusting, desktop investigation plus some technical claims management.
In 2018, Larry walked into the commercial underwriting zone. He had dealt with a lot of commercial risks which are often branded as ‘too hard’. He treated each of them as a ‘special’ project, which require himself to provide accurate insights and interpretation for risks. In return, he accumulated a wealth of knowledge in large/complex insurance programmes.

In 2015-2016, Larry, as a Senior Claims/Resolution Consultant and won the ‘IAG Best Team Player Quarter Award’ twice and was also nominated in the Annual Final List.
In 2018, Larry obtained support from AON Benfield (UK) and had his underwriting binding authority approved by Lloyd's.
